Neighbors, not a tourism bureau.
Keep Nashville Local is a neighbor-led effort. The demand is a complete ban on short-term rental permits, owner-occupied and not owner-occupied, in non-commercially zoned residential areas. Commercial and mixed-use zones are where this use belongs. Conservation overlays are the first place we organize, because those districts already exist to protect residential character and an overlay by itself does not ban the rental.
This site does not publish the names, phone numbers, or home addresses of individual neighbors. Do not send those details to be posted. Examples stay in the email you send to your own council member or association.

One list. Bills, hearings, and coordinated actions. No newsletter and no fundraising blast. Posted events stay on Hearings. Saving the reports you file is a separate account on Your reports.
Neighborhood associations and media
There is no separate public inbox published here. Associations and reporters use the same path residents use:
- Send a local example from the Take Action page. The note opens in your email app with a blank To line. Address it to the association or the reporter. Leave neighbor names and home addresses out of it.
- Use the council template when the ask is a vote.
- Join the list above for hearing and bill notices. Those messages are sent from [email protected]. Joining stores your email. It does not publish you, and it does not open a reports account.
The law pages cite Metro and the state code on purpose. If a hearing date or a permit rule changes, the official link is the record. This site will not invent a statistic to fill a gap.
